The Viral Costco 'Apocalypse' Dinner Kit Stays Good For 25 Years—Here's What's Inside
You can truly buy everything at Costco—including all you need to survive a zombie apocalypse.
In case you're preparing for the end of the world, be sure to stop by Costco because the warehouse is selling an apocalypse-ready dinner kit that's packed with 132 servings of food and drink. In addition to an ample amount of grub, the kit has a shelf life of up to 25 years.
Cookbook author Jeffrey Eisner spotted the unique bucket, which can be purchased for just $62.99, while visiting the warehouse and spilled all the details on Instagram. In his viral video, Eisner revealed that the Readywise Emergency Food Supply includes multiple servings of teriyaki rice, pasta Alfredo, cheesy macaroni, apple cinnamon cereal, and several other dishes.
The Costco website sells two other emergency food supply options: a 150-serving food bucket ($99.99) and a 110-serving protein bucket ($179.99). The 150-serving food bucket is the one most similar to the kit that went viral and includes:
Pasta Alfredo - 12 Servings
Cheesy Macaroni - 12 Servings
Teriyaki Rice (GF) - 6 Servings
Creamy Pasta and Vegetables - 6 Servings
Potato Pot Pie (GF) - 6 Servings
Tomato Basil Soup with Pasta (GF) - 6 Servings
Chicken Noodle Soup - 6 Servings

Apple Cinnamon Cereal - 12 Servings
Crunchy Granola – 6 Servings

The comments section to Eisner's video is riddled with apocalyptic humor, but this one takes the cake (which the meal kit unfortunately does not include): "Does Costco know something?" Our thoughts exactly...
