Erase the appearance of fine lines with this editor-approved, on-sale dermaroller -- under $10!

I know it sounds crazy that one beauty tool that costs under $10 can erase the appearance of fine lines, scars and promote hair growth, but it’s true! It absolutely can and I am living proof. The Sdara Skincare Derma Microneedling Roller is a mouthful to say, but also a bit of a miracle worker. I certainly think so and the other 19,000+ five-star reviewers on Amazon would agree.

This powerful roller covered with .25 mm needles will completely change your beauty routine and leave you looking younger, radiant, fine line-free, and that's just the beginning.

Before I convince you to try it, if you’ve never heard of microneedling, here’s a quick dermatology lesson on this great beauty breakthrough. Microneedling is a simple, safe, ultra-effective, minimally invasive technique that’s been around for over a decade. It uses tiny needles to prick your skin, helping stimulate skin cells to heal and produce more proteins, like elastin. It was initially used only for collagen rejuvenation; however, now it is used to erase acne scars, post-traumatic/burn scars, stretch marks, minimize pores and so much more. Microneedling for hair loss also shows promising results with in-office and at-home treatments. So much so multiple large-scale studies are being performed as I type these words.

Originally, microneedling was only offered as an in-office procedure via a dermatologist. Today, you can buy dermarollers like this one for a fraction of the cost, but there is a small catch; the needles are not as long as the ones used by a dermatologist (.5mm). An at-home dermaroller needle length is usually 0.25 mm or less. While in-office microneedling only requires a single visit and typically costs from $300-$800, the over-the-counter dermarollers do require repeated use. In my opinion, the ability to target certain areas and have the option of repeated use is a perk to having one at home. The tiny pin-size pricks on your skin allow for a deeper, more enhanced transdermal delivery of antiaging lotions and potions, meaning you'll get the full effects of your products delivered way down deep into your skin, thanks to all those tiny holes.

I purchased this dermaroller about six weeks ago to test myself before recommending it to you, my dear reader, and I can honestly say while it does hurt a little (about a three on a scale of 1-10), the results are fast. I woke up two days later with noticeably brighter skin. About a week later, I noticed my fine lines and necklines had begun to fade. I have been using it about three days a week, with time in between to allow my skin to heal. I’m now rolling a scar on the top of my foot to see what results I can get. I’ve also started rolling into my hairline to see if it helps stimulate growth. This thing is truly great!

I fully give this derma roller my seal of approval. With anything that takes time to see results, you have to stick with it, but when the compliments start rolling in from friends and family, you will be so glad you did. For under $10 at the time of publishing, you don’t have much to lose but much to gain!
