These days, dogs have it pretty good. We provide them with an endless supply of toys, treats, and soft bedding. What’s more, many have parents who often work from home, ensuring they are never alone for more than a few hours. Some even accompany them to the office.

Even on vacations, we bring our four-legged family members to join the fun. And a few days at the Ritz would undoubtedly be a luxurious holiday, filled with pampering and indulgence that will leave everyone feeling like royalty!

I didn’t know that the Ritz Carlton allowed our four-legged friends to vacation with us. Even better, depending on the location, they also allow bigger dogs to stay. This worked out well for Chubby and Bella (@chubbynbella), whose parents revealed that they hadn’t worked on their “Summer bods.” Ha! They aren’t alone.

Their visit was off to a great start when they were greeted with lots of affection at the front desk, which made up for not having any treats. Once in their room, they were pleased with the freshwater that awaited them and gave this bottled variety a 9/10. They also indulged in some yummy cheese and peanut butter dog cookies. Since they were on vacation and weren’t watching their figures, they also gobbled up the treats given to them by the doorman, along with even more love from the friendly staff. The bathtub also received high marks, with an 8/10 for washing paws. Although the provided dog bed could have been bigger, thankfully, the human bed was total perfection, receiving 10/10. Overall, it sure looks like a sensational way to spend the weekend!

Do All Ritz Carlton Locations Allow Dogs?

The pet policies at this luxurious chain vary by location. For example, the Boston Ritz-Carlton allows dogs up to 60 pounds, while other locations have a weight limit of 25 pounds. Additionally, there’s a pet fee per stay, the amount of which also varies. In some hotels, dogs can be left unattended in the rooms, while in others, they cannot. Therefore, before you go, be sure to check the policy. If you can bring your four-legged friends, rest assured they’ll be pampered alongside you.

Pet parents were overjoyed to learn this lavish hotel also welcomed dogs. One person responded, “Kudos to the Ritz for treating the doggos with the love they deserve.” Yes, indeed. Viewer @bigchunkymonkey remarked, “Now that’s a place we all need to go to!!! So fun!” It’s a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

It’s great to see large hotel chains opening their doors to four-legged guests. Instead of staying home, we can bring all our beloved family members on vacation, too.
